Only 3.7GB in size: Win10-based magic conversion of classic WinXP released
Windows XP, which is no longer being updated, has always held a special place in the hearts of many older users.
For this reason, there are often developers who try to recreate the experience of using WinXP with a new system.
Recently, developer travis#2800 released the Windows EXPERIENCE Freestyle Update, a 3.7GB system image based on the magic of Win10 that can give users a relatively complete WinXP experience even in 2023.
In terms of interface, this image is almost 1:1 in the details of WinXP, whether it is animation effects, UI details or icon design, there is almost no fault to be found.
At the same time, in terms of system applications, this image also basically restores the design of the WinXP era, avoiding any sense of fragmentation.
However, as a personal secondary development image based on Win10, the Windows EXPERIENCE Freestyle Update still has some bugs and problems that need to be fixed.
These include various types of issues such as language variety, font display, abnormal system crashes, etc. Users are advised to make sure they can accept it through virtual machines and other means before attempting to install it.
