Download the Windows 10 Preview (KB5022906): Includes Windows Spotlight improvements and more

Microsoft has released a new Win 10 patch KB5022906 for versions 19042.2673, 19044.2673, and 19045.2673.

The new preview opens information links in the focus box in the lock screen interface more quickly, and it also fixes a number of bugs, including an issue that stopped hyperlinks in Microsoft Excel and another that stopped video playback after ads ran in an unnamed streaming application.

As we've mentioned in the past, Microsoft will no longer release optional non-security updates for Windows 10, versions 20H2 and 21H2 after March 2023, and will only release cumulative monthly security updates for those versions. Windows 10, version 22H2 will continue to receive security and optional updates after March.
