[Android] Microsoft SwiftKey update v188.8.131.52
Last November, the Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard app disappeared from iOS devices, only to go live again for iPhone users a month later. However, no such confusion occurred with the SwiftKey Android app on the Google Play Store. Instead, it gets new features or changes every once in a while.
Microsoft is rolling out a noteworthy new feature for the SwiftKey keyboard on Android via an app update on the Google Play Store. The app is available in version 184.108.40.206 and the update enables users to change the language of the app from the Android system settings. However, this privilege is only available to users of Android 13, not those running older versions of the OS.
In addition to a new approach to changing the application language, the latest version of SwiftKey also fixes an issue in the accessibility description of the theme selection radio button. That's all that's new in the latest version of Microsoft SwiftKey. If needed, you can still read the full official changelog for the latest SwiftKey keyboard update on Android at:
- Fixed accessibility description of radio button for theme selection
- The language of the SwiftKey main app can now be set via Android 13's system settings.
