Microsoft’s Loop collaboration platform soon to be in public preview

Notion is one of the most popular note-taking applications in the world and has gained a huge following worldwide thanks to its sophisticated features.

In 2021, Microsoft will release Microsoft Loop, a writing platform that is clearly related to Notion in terms of UI and functionality, but also incorporates Microsoft's own environmental strengths.

Now it has been announced that Microsoft Loop will go into public preview at the end of March, with a view to Notion.

Microsoft Loop is said to bring together all Microsoft 365 applications, allowing all software to be kept in sync and helping teams to work together.

Based on the app, users can consolidate everything they need to organise projects, such as files, links and data from other apps, into a single place and then structure it through workspaces, pages and sub-pages.

Having learned from its predecessors and backed by Microsoft's vast Office software ecosystem, Microsoft Loop will clearly be a strong contender in this space.
