Microsoft confirms Win11 Moment 3 update to be released in May at the earliest
Microsoft has updated its official support documentation to explicitly mention the Win11 Moment 3 update.
In the support document "Generating WiFiCx drivers for multiple Windows versions", Microsoft explicitly mentions the Moment 3 update in the following terms
- -To load WiFiCx-based drivers on Windows 11 versions 21H2 and 22H2, the NetAdapterCx version must be forced to 2.2.
- -To load WiFiCx-based drivers on Windows 11 versions 22H2, Moment 3 and later, the NetAdapterCx version must be forced to 2.2+ (or use the latest version).
Meanwhile, according to official sources, the Moment 3 update will be released in May or June this year.
According to Microsoft, the update should be ready within a few weeks and is expected to bring back the seconds display in the system tray of the taskbar, add "Access Keys" to the right-click menu of the file manager, and other features.
