iPhone 15 Pro Max set to break record for thinnest bezel
The Xiaomi 13's record for the slimmest bezel is likely to be broken by the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the 1.81mm bezel black edge record held by the Xiaomi 13, and we measured the width of the black edge of its cover at just 1.55mm. (The S22 and S23 are around 1.95mm, the iPhone 14 Pro is 2.17mm).

Compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, this means that the thickness of the bezel around the screen has been reduced by around 30%.
95toMac calculated the bezel thickness and trim data for the iPhone 15 Pro Max based on CAD drawings from Apple:
Ice Universe also confirmed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a "frosted titanium mid-frame". The iPhone 15 series will also switch to USB-C this year, replacing the decades-old Lightning connector.
According to previous reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope and a smaller camera bump.
Another minor change is the curvature of the edges of the glass and metal mid-frame of the body, with the glass curved slightly at the edges to create a more seamless transition with the mid-frame.
The bezel itself is also more curved than before, making the phone more comfortable to hold and less likely to be accidentally touched.
