Huawei HarmonyOS 4.0 to be released in autumn

Yesterday, Huawei held the 2023 Huawei Smart Car Solution Launch Event and officially released Huawei ADS 2.0, which features the industry's first laser-fused GOD network, NCA Smart Driving Pilot covering 90% of urban scenarios, support for AVP valet parking assistance, and the industry's first support for surface and underground parking.

Huawei Managing Director Yu Chengdong announced at the conference that Huawei HarmonyOS 4.0 (Hongmeng OS) will be released this autumn.

For reference, Hongmeng OS 3.0 was released in July last year and the scale upgrade was launched in September. If there is no surprise, Hongmeng OS 4.0 will be unveiled in September along with the Huawei Mate 60 series.

It is understood that Hongmeng OS 4.0 will achieve multi-person multi-device and multi-screen multi-sound zone in the car, supporting six sound zone sound source positioning, multi-person multi-screen multi-sound zone concurrent control, compared to Hongmeng 2.0/3.0, Hongmeng OS 4.0 also achieves in-cabin eye position tracking and eye state recognition, and supports multi-screen multi-channel bi-directional streaming and multi-screen cross-device screen casting.

It is worth mentioning that the voice of Hongmeng OS 4.0 intelligent cockpit will also be significantly improved, using the training results of Huawei's big model, and Xiao Yi's voice will be more intelligent.
