Copilot version of Word screenshots now available
Earlier this month, Microsoft announced Microsoft 365 Copilot, a generative service based on artificial intelligence to help users further improve their productivity.
Recently, some of the Office Word for Insiders (Beta Channel) users who have been granted beta status have shared an early version of Copilot for Word for Win10 and Win11.
The screenshots show that the current version of Copilot for Word is able to help users with content suggestions and error correction, find images that match the content of the article, automatically optimise the layout of the text and automatically generate a summary based on the document.
Most importantly, of course, Copilot can create a completely new document or modify an existing one based on the user's input.
However, the Copilot version of Word is far from perfect. Not only are a number of features not yet available, but the AI often fails to work and produces error messages.
