Asus announces the new Vivobook 13 slate notebook: Intel 7W Ultra Low Power
Feb. 8 news -- Asus has announced the new Vivobook 13 Slate laptop, which can seamlessly switch between a tablet and a laptop.
The 2-in-1 PC is said to be powered by an Intel Core i3-N300 processor with 8 cores and 8 threads, consuming only 7W, with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen 3.0x4 SSD.
The display is a 13.3-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a peak brightness of 550 nits. It supports 1.07 billion colors with a cinematic 100% DCI-P3 gamut and is DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified for deep blacks and bright highlights.
The built-in 50Wh battery can be charged via one of two USB-C ports, with a 65W fast charge that charges it to 60% in 39 minutes.
The tablet also comes with an Asus Pen 2 stylus that supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, 5-350 grams of tip pressure and 266 Hz sampling rate, ready to write, draw or annotate.
In terms of connectivity, the new Vivobook 13 Slate has two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports and an audio jack.
Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
