Microsoft Confirms October 2022 Event, Date Confirmed

Microsoft has announced that it will host an event next month to inform people of "what's next." While the company hasn't talked about what it will reveal next, rumor has it that it will announce new Surface products at the event. Microsoft will clear all our doubts on October 12th at 10AM ET (10PM GMT the same day).

Microsoft is expected to release at least two new Surface devices next month, including the Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5. Rumor has it that Microsoft will make some exciting changes to the Surface lineup by merging the "Pro X" with the regular Surface Pro. The software company can launch both Intel and ARM versions of the Surface Pro 9. Rumors also suggest that new Surface devices aimed at gamers may also debut at the event.

Meanwhile, the Surface Laptop 5 is not expected to see radical changes. Like its predecessor, the Surface Laptop 5 is said to come in Intel and AMD variants. The company doesn't appear to be interested in integrating ARM chips into its laptops. But these are speculations, and we may see Microsoft prove us all wrong next month.
