Codenamed ‘Neila’ Google May Launch Pixel Mini
Google's fall hardware conference "Made by Google" is scheduled to be released on October 6, and the protagonists are naturally the previously announced Pixel 7 series and Pixel Watch. However, before the official start of the conference, a well-known domestic digital blogger @DigitalChatStation revealed that Google is developing a Pixel mini.
Weibo said that Google is developing a flagship device with a small screen, codenamed "Neila". The machine adopts a central punched straight screen design, and the back adopts a family-style design. This is all the news about the machine so far. It is debatable that Google chooses to launch a small-screen device after Apple abandoned it.
The mini model is no longer included in the iPhone 14 series, in favor of the iPhone 14 Plus to cater for larger-screen smartphones. However, reports suggest that pre-orders for the iPhone 14 Plus are lower than last year's iPhone 13 Mini.
It's unlikely we'll hear anything about the Pixel Mini at the upcoming hardware event, though. During the event, Google is expected to unveil the Google Pixel 7 series, as well as the first smartwatch from tech giant Google Pixel Watch.
