Asus announces Zenbook 17 Fold folding screen notebook

Earlier this year at CES 2022, ASUS had showcased the world's first foldable laptop, the Zenbook 17 Fold.

Today, ASUS has finally officially announced the Zenbook 17 Fold and said it will be released on August 31.

As the first folding screen notebook, Zenbook 17 Fold is equipped with a 17.3-inch OLED folding screen from BOE. This screen uses BOE's new generation of self-emitting technology, which can enhance the color accuracy of low grayscale while significantly improving the screen image quality.

In addition, this screen has also passed the TüV Rheinland eye protection certification and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Dolby Vision HDR certification.

As a notebook screen, this 17.3-inch flexible screen is also capable of being folded in the middle to give users two 12.5-inch 1080p screens in addition to being used unfolded.

Elsewhere, the Zenbook 17 Fold is powered by an Intel 12th generation i7 processor and has a Dolby Atmos and Harman Kardon certified four-speaker audio system, support for Windows Hello, and a built-in 5MP camera that supports ASUS' 3D noise reduction technology.
