Microsoft releases Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25158

Today, Microsoft has released the Build 25158 preview update to the Win11 Dev channel. As part of the larger version of the 23H2 release, it has tweaked the UI of Win11.

In Build 25158, Microsoft added two new search designs to the taskbar. These two new designs replace the original "magnifying glass" icon of the Search function in Windows 11 with a search box similar to that in Windows 10, but with a difference in length.

In addition to the search box, the update also changes the widget interface.

After the update, the widget icon displays a "red dot" notification mark when a dynamic notification message, such as news, appears, reminding the user to open and read it.

After opening the widget window, the news feed takes the top spot to ensure that the user sees it first.

In other news, the Build 25158 update fixes text errors in some minor languages, wi-fi hotspot bugs in previous versions, and several bugs that could cause the program to crash.
