Here comes the Asus Zenfone 9: a smaller flagship than the Mi 12S
Asustek announced today that it will officially unveil its new flagship Zenfone 9 at a launch event on July 28. According to the leaks, the Zenfone 9 is a flagship with a small screen, which could be called the "iPhone 13 Mini for Android." Compared to the iPhone 13 Mini, the Asus Zenfone 9 has a 5.9-inch screen with a FHD+ resolution, while the iPhone 13 Mini has a 5.4-inch screen with a 2340-by-1080 resolution. Both can be easily operated with one hand.
The Zenfone 9 is also powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ flagship processor, which is the flagship of android in the second half of this year. It is built using TSMC's 4nm process and has a superlarge core frequency of 3.2GHz.
In addition, the Asus Zenfone 9 has a 50 megapixel rear camera and a SONY IMX766 as the main camera. It has a battery capacity of 4300mAh, 65W support, dustproof and waterproof IP68 support, and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for price, the Zenfone 9 is rumored to start at 800 euros, with a final price to be announced on July 28.
