Redmi K50 with Dimensity 9000 model available in March
Previously at the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 launch event, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group China and General Manager of the Redmi brand, announced that the first batch of Redmi K50 series will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor.
The chip will be commercially available in mass production after the Chinese New Year, and rumors say that the K50 series with the Tiangui 9000 will be available in March.
It is reported that MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 uses TSMC's 4nm process and consists of one Cortex-X2 3.05GHz mega-core and three Cortex-A710 2.85GHz mega-core and four Cortex-A510 energy-efficient cores, with a comprehensive Rabbit score of over 1 million points, which is comparable to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8.
It is uncertain which version Redmi will apply the Dimensity 9000 to. From the information in the leak, the Redmi K50 is equipped with Snapdragon 870 and the gaming version is equipped with Snapdragon 8, so it is speculated that the Dimensity 9000 may be applied to the K50 Pro and K50 Pro+.
It is also worth noting that the Redmi K50 gaming version will be released first in February, and the Dimensity 9000 version of the K50 will debut later.
