How to open VSR in Edge browser

A few days ago, NVIDIA officially launched its VSR video super-resolution technology, but only for its RTX 30/40 series graphics cards.

Intel is said to be preparing a similar feature, but only for the 10th generation Core and Arc Solo graphics.

Unsurprisingly, AMD will also follow suit, though it will of course be limited to the new A-Card.

Now Microsoft has stepped in and added its own related technology directly to the Edge browser, also called VSR.

The basic effect of the Microsoft Edge VSR technology is the same as NVIDIA's VSR, which also uses AI technology to eliminate the residual image caused by video encoding and compression, and improve the sharpness of the image.

It only supports SD and low-definition video with resolutions below 720p, but the video width and height cannot be less than 192 pixels, and it cannot have DRM digital rights protection.

The hardware supports NVIDIA RTX 20/30/40 series, AMD RX 5000/6000/7000 series graphics cards, but there is no mention of Intel Arc graphics cards.

This also shows that NVIDIA's VSR technology can indeed be completely open to the RTX 20 series.

At the same time, Microsoft is also trying to support the combination of unique + core graphics on laptops, but there is no specific explanation, I wonder if NVIDIA discrete graphics plus Intel core graphics will work?

One more thing, when used on a laptop, it must be in power mode, not battery mode, as this technology is more power hungry.
