How to add a quick shutdown key to Windows
In this era of efficiency in everything, shutdown has also become a battlefield of seconds, usually we need to shut down the computer point "Start" - "Shutdown computer" - "Shutdown", 3 steps.
So is there a simpler and more direct way to do it? The answer is yes.
1. first, create a new text file on the desktop, we named it "Shutdown".
2. open this text and enter the key command "shutdown.exe /s /f /t 0" and click Save.
3. then change the extension of this file to: "bat" and you will see its icon change.
4. Finally, we put it in the most visible places, such as: desktop ah, the bottom left corner of the shortcut bar ah, when you need to shut down the computer, directly open it on the deal!
And want to add other options, just follow the above method, set different values in the text file on the line, the
Log off Shutdown -l
Restart Shutdown -r -f -t 00
Lockdown Rundll32 User32.dll,LockWorkStation
This method is applicable to any Windows system, whether you are XP, Win7 or Win10/11, it will work!
