September 2022 PS Plus membership games revealed: NFS Heat, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Dead Loop and more

Sony has announced new PS Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe tiers of games coming in September 2022. PS Plus members will get access to several exciting games this month, including NFS Heat, Watch Dogs 2, Rayman Legends, and more. These games will be added to the already huge PS Plus game library, which includes Ghost of Tsushima, Stray, Marvel's Spider-Man, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and more. PS Plus will continue to get new games every month for the Essential, Extra and Deluxe tiers.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalog lineup for September revealed 

This month's PS Plus Essential game features Need for Speed Fever (PS4). Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4) and Toem (PS5). The games will be available from September 6th to October 3rd. In addition to that, PS Plus Extra and Deluxe tier members will get a variety of new games on September 20. All games on the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe tiers are listed below:

  • Assassin’s Creed Origins (PS4)
  • Watch Dogs 2 (PS4)
  • Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (PS4)
  • Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition (PS4)
  • Chicory: A Colorful Tale (PS4)
  • Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 5 (PS4, PS5)
  • Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX (PS4, PS5)
  • Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show (PS4)
  • Rayman Legends (PS4)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition (PS4)

Meanwhile, August's PS Plus Essential games are still available for download for a limited time. PS Plus members can enter Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, and Little Nightmares through August 5. Sony hopes to grow the PS Plus user base by adding new first- and third-party games every month. Sony Interactive Entertainment boss Jim Ryan said the company aims to grow the PS Plus subscriber base to 50 million in the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2023.
